Go-kon Open Log
Welcome to the wonderful fall weekend go-kon dating event! Though typically karaoke is a rather intimate affair, Oshitari rented out a larger room to accommodate the crowd. There’s an open bar area with snacks and soft drinks; a few high tops surround it, dotting the way toward some of the comfier couches that frame the small stage. Around the stage the room is dimly lit, illuminated mostly by a few low lamps and flittering disco lights. The snacks, however, are perfectly illuminated.
Whether or not you put yourself on Oshitari's list, you can show up. Either you're someones plus one or you PM'd Oshitari last minute.
(ooc: (1) While there will be NPC characters there, keep in mind that they're all friends of friends. As such, they're all perfectly nice people who would not take advantage of anyone. Use them as you see fit.
(2) While I know there are large drinks being offered for free, please do not get your character dangerously drunk. Intoxicated and a little sloppy is fine, but please no hospitalization/extreme illness. Keep it fun!)

As he waited for his drink, Yukimura picked up a card. "Would you rather fly or have invisibility?" He hummed for a moment. "Fly, for sure."

"I didn't know that you'd be coming to be honest Gokons don't sound like your type of thing." Yuuji had come mainly because it sounded like it'd be fun and Kenya was going.

He took a drink then shrugged. "I've been holed up in either the studio or on the courts, so I thought I should be social before I'm too wrapped up in the tournament to do anything else."

In some ways he felt bad considering that Yukimura cared more about the tournament then he ever did. While he really liked playing tennis but he knew that he wasn't as dedicated as the other. " Oh right, you didn't to the Halloween party. Too bad you didn't go, you would have had a good time but yeah, you should be more social." Yuuji didn't consider himself a social butterfly but he did like having a good time. "It's our best years, might as well enjoy them."

It sounded like he had missed quite a party, but that was okay. "There will be parties in the future that I can go to." He smiled at Yuuji then held up his tea. "I'll enjoy it more if I remember what happened."

" That's true.At least you're here now." lifting his beer he clinked it slowly against the others tea cup. "Cheers to remembering and not making a fool out of yourself."

"Even sober, I could possibly make a fool of myself," Yukimura said. "Either way, I'll have a good time, right?"

"Most of my friends seem to think I'm invisible, so I think it would be nice to fly too. Nice to meet you, I'm Kuroko Tetsuya."

"Size shouldn't be a determining factor in what sport you play. If you're good at it, then it doesn't matter," Yukimura said. Though, he would make some exceptions. Gymnastics, for one, was easier if you were smaller and lighter. Yukimura mirrored Kuroko's smile. "Tennis, for me. What school do you go to?"

He hadn't thought Yukimura was an athlete. His graceful physique was deceiving. "What about you?"

Yukimura thumbed the rim of his tea mug. He didn't quite know what someone would do with a literature degree. It was probably a lot of writing and reading. Too boring to keep attention for very long. "Fine art at Togei," he replied eventually.

"Watercolors," Yukimura said with a bright smile. "I've been doing a lot with acrylics lately though." He really needed to finish some paintings rather than start new ones. Inspiration was temperamental like that. "What style do you like best? Literature-wise."

Kind of a terrifying thought.
"Personally, I would make a fabulous unicorn."

As he peered at Oshitari, Kuroko concluded that the handsome young man would make a "fabulous unicorn." Although he wasn't sure if their symbolism really fit Oshitari's personality. "Not to be rude. But aren't unicorns symbols of purity?"
