Welcome to the wonderful fall weekend go-kon dating event! Though typically karaoke is a rather intimate affair, Oshitari rented out a larger room to accommodate the crowd. There’s an open bar area with snacks and soft drinks; a few high tops surround it, dotting the way toward some of the comfier couches that frame the small stage. Around the stage the room is dimly lit, illuminated mostly by a few low lamps and flittering disco lights. The snacks, however, are perfectly illuminated.

Whether or not you put yourself on Oshitari's list, you can show up. Either you're someones plus one or you PM'd Oshitari last minute.

(ooc: (1) While there will be NPC characters there, keep in mind that they're all friends of friends. As such, they're all perfectly nice people who would not take advantage of anyone. Use them as you see fit.
(2) While I know there are large drinks being offered for free, please do not get your character dangerously drunk. Intoxicated and a little sloppy is fine, but please no hospitalization/extreme illness. Keep it fun!)

Watching Tanaka inching away just made Kuroo move closer to him. "Aww, how cold of you, Ryuunosuke-kun." He leaned his head on his shoulder like it was nothing. "Hmm, yeah An-san's pretty cute," looking up to Tanaka, he grinned. "What, haven't had any lately? Need some help?"

Surely, Kuroo was asking for it. It being a punch in the face.

Dammit he should have known better, especially since the guy had alcohol in him. But so did Tanaka... maybe he just needed more. He drank down the last of his beer and slammed it down on the table. At least it wasn't hard enough to knock anything over. It was enough to shrug off his advance for the moment at least.

"No I haven't, so what." he wasn't going to be all shy about it. At least not like he usually would when not drinking at a party. But he was feeling pretty moody and down and the beer buzz only amplified it. Pride be damned, Tanaka was lonely.

Oooh, grumpy boy was grumpy. Being shrugged off from Tanaka's shoulder, Kuroo leaned down, settling his elbow on his own thigh, resting his cheek on his palm. He turned to look at Tanaka.

"Can't be helped. Kuroo-san will accompany you for the night, then." Oh, wasn't he such a good friend?

Tanaka eyed him warily. As annoying as the guy was he still was his friend though... sorta... maybe just neighbor was a safer word after all. Kuroo was freaking nuts but sometimes that was refreshing in a weird way. Maybe his crazy was rubbing off on him because of his buzz.

"Whatever... ain't like I'll get a girl over here at this rate." Better than spending the night moping in the corner at least. "Get my another drink and maybe I won't punch you the next second you piss me off tonight."

Watching Tanaka was so much fun. His expressions just kept switching from one to another, Kuroo probably had not seen someone so animated while being grumpy. "Aww, there there," he really did mean to comfort but most probably sounded annoying instead.

"Had thought you'd need some. Here," lifting the glass he had put on the table in front of them, he smirked. "I got a bottle of champagne on that drinking game thing. You can have a glass."

"Well aren't you generous." he rolled his eyes a bit at the offer but it was still a drink nonetheless. He took the bottle from him and poured them both a new glass full. Even if it was questionable sometimes, Kuroo was still technically Tanaka's senpai after all. Even if they weren't going to the same schools or anything, Tanaka respected the idea of senpai kouhai relations quite a bit.

"So... why'd you even bother coming to this anyway?" Tanaka questioned curiously, raising a brow to him in question as he lifted his glass to toast before drinking.

"Pfft. 'Course I am," Kuroo snorted, relaxing back to his seat. "I don't mind if you want to drink more than a glass, but careful not to drink too much." He watched Tanaka's base of head, muffling his giggle. The small concave on the center of it seemed funny to him, for whatever reason it was.

The question launched his way surprised him more than anything. Why, huh. "Curious?" A devious smile formed on his lips.

"Hell no. Just thought I'd ask..." Tanaka grumbled into his drink. He only intended to take a swig but that turned into downing the whole thing in one gulp. Oh well... champagne wouldn't hit him too hard-- at least he thought so at the moment.

Kuroo snorted. "People watching." His smile soon faded off his face, though. "Oi oi, pace yourself." Sitting up, he searched for Tanaka's face, making sure the younger boy was fine.

"I'm right here you, dumbass." Tanaka grumbled as he reached over to steady him and his friend's gaze which was all over the place. "I can handle it shit... Better than you from the looks of it." Even if he was starting to feel a bit lightheaded but he wasn't the one touching other people's faces to get a feel for things. "Think you're the one who needs to pace yourself."

It wasn't until Kuroo sat up that he realised his vision was getting shaky that he totally miss out Tanaka's face. Maybe he didn't eat enough beforehand, he wouldn't get tipsy so fast usually. "Heh. I'm being lectured by Ryuu-kun. You sure care for me a lot, don't you?"

It was kind of really nice to see his pal remotely worried about him, he sort of wanted to see more of that. Managing to dive in between Tanaka's grip, Kuroo grabbed another glass. "I'm pacing myself." Such an obvious lie. Just like that, he downed another glass.

Tanaka was prepared to put up his fists and fight the guy. That's usually what happened with tough guys trying to out drink him after all. Well other than the Karasuno gang of course but they hadn't had drinking parties in a while. What he hadn't expected was for Kuroo to dodge past him to grab another drink.

"Dammit... you're gonna be a real mess at that rate, Tetsurou." he sighed and took the glass away from him. He wasn't looking to see his friend shitfaced when Tanaka was the one who was supposed to be the miserable one. How had he turned that around on him? "I'm the one who should be drinking." Not to be outdone, Tanaka poured another glass to down too.

Leaning back again to the seat, Kuroo figured that this posture was a lot more comfortable. He should probably stay that way for the moment.

Tanaka's reaction was slightly different to his expectation, but it wasn't unpleasant the least bit. In fact, it made Kuroo's edge of lips curve up. Aw. So he really was in need of care and love, then. Kuroo would be glad to assist him with that. "You're right. Help yourself then." His hand reached up to play around with the mohawk after gesturing to the champagne. "There, there. Poor Ryuu-kun." He had wanted to rile up the younger boy a little more with drinking, but nah. He got to be the sober one in the end of the day if Tanaka was planning to get wasted.

Not that he was all that sober at this point.

He let out a small huff as the other guy messed with his hair but he guessed it didn't feel bad exactly. Tanaka just shrugged his shoulder a little and took another glass of the offered champagne again. Well, at least Kuroo was calming down so he wouldn't have to worry about him. Though he drank this glass a lot slower than before just to make sure he wasn't planning on pulling a fast one again.

"Hey I don't need anymore pity okay. Used to this kinda thing anyway." Not that he minded it at all at least Kuroo wasn't getting more game than him. He wondered why he even cared for a moment but shook it off, alcohol always made him weirdly moody, as if he wasn't usually.

The texture of Tanaka's mohawk was kind of intriguing. It was somewhat ticklish as Kuroo ran his finger through it. Kinda fluffy too. ...Hey. How about the shaved bit? He had always wondered how it would feel touching a shaved head since he'd never cut his hair that short before.

Mindlessly running his thumb over Tanaka's buzz cut, he let out a stupid-sounding "Ooh!" in a happy sort of surprise. That felt nice. Like it was the most natural thing, he started rubbing his thumb more on the same spot.

"Aw. Don't say such sad things. Aren't I here with you now?" If Tanaka got more moody with alcohol, Kuroo got cheesier than ever, if that was even possible. Worst ever combination? Worst ever combination.

Oh damn... that felt really good. Tanaka found himself melting a little against the massaging on his scalp. He was used to people rubbing his shaved head in the past for good luck but this was so much nicer than that. Without really thinking he leaned closer to Kuroo, distracting himself with more champagne.

"Yeah guess you are... that feels hella good you know." he hummed, the wild snappy beast of a hothead tamed-- at least for the moment.

With their proximity, Kuroo could tell how the younger relaxed into his touch, much to his surprise. He certainly thought he would get swatted away, but like a little puppy Tanaka was actually leaning closer. Well. That was kind of cute. Kuroo couldn't tell if it was himself or alcohol talking, but right now he felt the need to indulge the boy beside him.

It didn't help much that Tanaka was being unusually honest, what reason did Kuroo have not to be generous? He ran the back of his digits up and down the base of Tanaka's head, occasionally changing it up with his fingertips.

"Daaaamn, that's real nice." Tanaka groaned happily as he leaned closer to Kuroo, practically against him. He really was a happy dog who possibly would have even crawled into the other's lap. There probably wasn't enough alcohol in front of them for Tanaka to get that needy though. Just moody enough to want the attention and welcome the relaxing touch.

"Wouldn't think you'd be any good at this with your mess of hair, Tetsurou." he chuckled lightly, imagining the other's hair felt like a disaster as much as it looked sometimes. Idly he tilted his head to the side so he could reach back to toy with the tips of a few long strands of Kuroo's hair.

Oh wow. Kuroo had never known he wanted a puppy so much in his life. He shifted so Tanaka could lean comfortably on his chest, steadying his hands on either side of the head. His thumbs made circular motion on the other boy's temple, tips of other fingers tickled the neck (mostly unintentional, he swore).

"Hey, now. That's not nice. It's my identity, alright?" Obviously, with that tone of voice, anyone could tell he wasn't offended with his tone of voice, but didn't mean he couldn't use that a reason to press on Tanaka's cheeks.

Kuroo leaned down to give Tanaka more access to his 'mess of hair'. But what he hadn't notice yet was their gradually narrowing distance.

Tanaka shivered as he felt the brush of Kuroo's fingers teasing at his neck progressively more and more. He let out a small growl at first but it turned into a purr soon enough. If he were a dog his tail would be wagging and his leg kicking for sure.

"Yeah... some identity." Though to his surprise Kuroo's hair was softer than he imagined. Definitely thick though from the looks of it as he was able to tilt his head to see more of it. His hand wandered to brush through more curiously and as his eye contact was on the guy's hair he paid no mind as they pulled closer.

Taking note of Tanaka's responses, Kuroo ran his fingers on the sides of Tanaka's neck, thumbs massaging the nape lightly. This was actually really enjoyable.

The pleasure doubled over as Tanaka's touches were all over his hair. It felt even better now they were both the receiving and giving end. "Mm," was all he could manage as he leaned his forehead on Tanaka's shoulder.

Yeah this was nice. Tanaka could definitely live with this anytime. He might even consider hanging out with Kuroo a lot more if this was what he could be promised each time. Stretching out a moment, he moved closer still to Kuroo this time definitely almost easing into his lap-- almost but not quite. He head turned to nuzzle against the other's neck on accident.

"Damn you're good at head massages... but knock it off with the neck." he grumbled though it wasn't exactly an angry one. It was more because he didn't want those devious finger's of his friend's to decide to mess with his ears after all.

It was a peculiar feeling, getting in such proximity with someone who usually would yell at him for being so freaky. Comfortable, yet sort of bittersweet thinking how it would probably never happen again without alcohol. The unintentional nuzzling soon distracted him from his thoughts, though. Shiver shot down through his spine, a small grunt of satisfaction escaped his lips. His arm reflexively hovered and tightened over Tanaka, pulling them together.

Ugh. That was kind of bad.

Only when Tanaka started speaking again that Kuroo regained his composure. "Heh. Sensitive area?" Well, 'no' in Kuroo's head meant 'yes', so be careful of what you wish for, Tanaka. Because now he was pretty much tracing lines on every prominent part of your neck.

"Nngh..." a light groan escaped him as the sensation tingled along down to the nap of his neck. Tanaka found himself curling against Kuroo's chest trying to hide his face. His hand slipped clumsily across the guy's face and made its way down to crumple against his shirt.

"Fuck knock it off Tetsurou..!" Sensitive was sensitive dammit! Mostly because no one ever touched around there unless it was a rough headlock.

Kuroo hummed lightly at the touch down his face, smiling a little at Tanaka's reactions. "Hmm, feeling it?"

Alright, he would play nice for now. Just didn't want to get a headbutt at this kind of situation. He moved his arm up to thumb over the spot he was looking at earlier. The tiny concave on the center of Tanaka's base of head.

Shifting to make their position more relaxing, he grunted a little as Tanaka wasn't all that light to just move. A sigh of relief exhaled out of him after it was done. "So where is good?"
