Welcome to the wonderful fall weekend go-kon dating event! Though typically karaoke is a rather intimate affair, Oshitari rented out a larger room to accommodate the crowd. There’s an open bar area with snacks and soft drinks; a few high tops surround it, dotting the way toward some of the comfier couches that frame the small stage. Around the stage the room is dimly lit, illuminated mostly by a few low lamps and flittering disco lights. The snacks, however, are perfectly illuminated.

Whether or not you put yourself on Oshitari's list, you can show up. Either you're someones plus one or you PM'd Oshitari last minute.

(ooc: (1) While there will be NPC characters there, keep in mind that they're all friends of friends. As such, they're all perfectly nice people who would not take advantage of anyone. Use them as you see fit.
(2) While I know there are large drinks being offered for free, please do not get your character dangerously drunk. Intoxicated and a little sloppy is fine, but please no hospitalization/extreme illness. Keep it fun!)

The hug was unexpected, but Fuji decided to roll with it. He rested his head against Sanada's chest, humming deep in his throat, a confirmation he was listening. When Sanada's quieted down, Fuji sighed. "No one? How incomprehensible... People can be really short-sighted and silly, can't they?"

"Ah, I suppose so....everyone who is nice....always does it with rather cruel jokes.....I...guess they do not realize...or are not as nice as I thought..." He sighed and rested his head ontop of Fujis, though he had to bed quite a lot to do it. He was so small. It was adorable.

"If they don't realize, then they ought to be set straight," Fuji mumbled into Sanada's chest. "If they're cruel intentionally... Excuse me for saying it, but then maybe you don't need those people in your life, nee?"

"Ah.........though I'm not good at these kind of things...telling people how I feel and such...." He sighed, "You're really warm and nice to hold...why are you at a gokon? I'm sure you could have your pick of anyone you wanted in the world...."

"You're far too kind."

"I'm just... Trying to socialize. That's all."

"Ah....that had been my original intention too...." He sighed a little, "Then I met her...and then I screwed things up...and now she will never forgive me and have beautiful perfect babies with Atobe or something...and he'll make me babysit them whil they run off to Norway or something..." He didn't know why he thought they would run away to Norway, but he did.

"Norway's not so bad," Fuji chuckled, a thought exasperated. "Wonderful landscape."

"Sanada, do you honestly think Atobe is perfect?" He tried to twist around a little to reach his glass, body rubbing against Sanada's as he did. He emptied the glass and sighed.

"There's no such thing as a perfect human being."

Sanada wrapped his arms around Fuji from behind instead and thought about it as much as his alcohol filled body would let him. Though part of him wanted to know more about Norway.....

"I think...that he is what most people see as perfect.....he is good at balancing his life with his work and his hobbies and he is strong and kind....smart and honest when he is allowed....I do not think he is without flaws though, no one is....but that doesn't mean I don't think he's perfect....someone wihtout flaws...wouldn't be perfect..."

Fuji's eyes glittered mischievously. "Why, you have me wondering if it's Atobe you're jealous of, or the girl..."

Sanada blinked and looked down at him, "Eh? What do you mean?"

"Yes." A silky voice purred behind them. "That is what I would like to know."

Sanada jumped a little and turned around to see Atobe. He stared at him for a moment then squished him agianst his chest in a tight hug, "Don't marry her and have perfect kids and move to Norway, please...."

Vein throbbing at being so gracelessly manhandled Atobe only resisted the urge to inflict the suitable punishment on the big lug at the honest distress he could detect in the other man. "What are you taking about you big oaf." He snapped, pushing against the firm chest he was smothered against. And if there was more fond exasperation and affection in his time than actual aggravation he would never admit it. "What in the world would I do in Norway."

"I don't know....but I feel like it's somewhere you would go..." He mumbled but released his hold on Atobe a little, "The girl you came here with...she's the one I.......said something stupid to...." He mumbled, blushing and looking all embarrassed. Yes, the alcohol was definitely doing it's job of destroying Sanada's very carefully prepared walls.

Sighing again Atobe patted at Sanada's chest, glad to at least be able to breathe unencumbered. "Why am I not surprised." He shook his head. "I can't let you out of my sight without you making a hash of things, now can I." He pursed his lips, remembering the flicker of -something - in his companion's gaze when spotting Sanada and his companion that had prompted him to interrupt their 'moment'. "What did you say? Not that sitting next to you could get her pregnant I hope."

"I.........asked her to marry me at what I have been told was an inappropriate time...." He mumbled, "Oh I drank a rainbow, you should roll the dice. If you get something big I'll help you drink it too. Do you want to sing with me? Or dance? We could dance." The easily distracted intoxicated titan rambled, trying not to think about the uncomfortable event that had drove him to drink in the first place.

"I think you have had quite enough." He countered, reaching up to brush cool fingertips against Sanada's neck. "What you need now is to drink more water and maybe have a bit of lie-down." He wouldn't even go into the mindfield that was Sanada prosposing to Momoi, not without knowing more and not while Sanada was three sheets to the wind.

"I'm fine..." He mumbled but leaned into the touch, "Water sounds nice though.....I don't want to lie down but I'll sit if you sit with me..."

"Fine." He agreed since it seemed easiest to placate the big baby. "I'll get you some more water so sit down and wait for me here." He gave Sanada a firm look, worthy of Hyoutei's ice emperor. "And keep your hands to yourself, all right."

Sanada blinked but flushes a bit then smiled, "Alright. I'll keep them to myself until you get back."

He really wasn't hard to handle when drunk, you just had to get him focused on something. With that the big guy sat down and stared at his hand to make sure they stayed off other people and things.

Returning with a bottle of water and a fresh glass Atobe sank into a seat next to Sanada. "Here you go." He announce, pushing the glass over once he had half filled it with water. "Did you eat anything recently?"

Sanada blinked as Atobe magically appeared beside him again, "Ah, Atobe, thank you." He took the water and sipped at it happily, "I....think I ate before I came here...I can't remember though..."

"Might be best to get some sustenance into you then so you don't throw up only bile later." Atobe shook his head at the state Sanada was in. "I didn't know you were such an enthusiastic drinker."
