Saturday has finally arrived and the winners(+one) of the G-box Costume contest are going on their over night trip to Kurobe.

Details to know:

Winners will be taking the same bus to the hotel.

Dinner and breakfast will be served in each room

There is a common room in anyone wishes to mingle

Baths are divided by gender and close at midnight.

It was a great time to celebrate. No only for his win in the contest, but for Johoga's victory in the InterDai tournament. It was just the beginning, Kise thought, another 3 months of winter tournament and he hoped by the end to have a sponsor. Everything was going as he planned and hoped.

After a long time cooking in the onsen, Kise decided he enjoyed looking like a human and not a prune and left to relax a little in the common room. Besides, he was there with Kasamatsu, but he has also kind of kissed Zaizen and had slept with Oshitari Yuushi. He wasn't uncomfortable with it exactly, but a moment away from that number of people was nice.

He asked for hards and began to patiently build a castle.

Zaizen, pink-skinned and damp-haired from the bath, found Kenya sitting at a corner table in the common room.

"Your neighbors are making trouble in the onsen," he said with amusement, bringing up a picture on his phone of a destroyed barrier and fleeing women. He had been prudent to not capture any parts that were too sensitive.

Kenya glanced up from his tablet, eyebrow arching up curiously as the other turned his phone so that he could see the screen. "My neighbors..." he started, then paused to stare at the image Zaizen showed him. "Oh for fuck's sake, those two? Again?"

And in the women's bath, no less.

With an annoyed groan, Kenya dropped his forehead to the table. "Please tell me we aren't rooming next to them?"

Zaizen clicked another picture of Kenya headbutting the table. If it were a battle of thickness, his senpai's skull could definitely compete with the cheap table.

"They're on our wing, must be following you," he teased, wondering if it would get Kenya to thump his head against the table more.

Banging his head against the table sounded like a good idea, but the blond refrained; he'd just end up with a headache, and he was planning on actually enjoying this trip.

Though, he wasn't going to be heading to the onsen anytime soon.

"They're in our wing?" Kenya repeated, turning his head enough to give Zaizen a flat stare. "Great." Not that Kenya disliked his neighbors. He really didn't. The two of them and their quirks were just a little... Much on occasion. And Kenya had been around Yuuji and Kouharu during the peak of their Baka Couple antics.

"So, do I wanna know what happened?" he sighed, pulling back from the table to sit and putting his tablet to sleep. "They discover a caterpillar cocoon or something?"

Zaizen fought the urge to smile at Kenya's misery. If he had to put up with the jimmies pair while on vacation, he at least had the blond to entertain him.

"There was a moth," he said dryly, eying Kenya's tablet. "Naturally, this called for them to ruin everything. Tachibana-chan killed it against one of their foreheads."

Which one of them, he couldn't be expected to know.

Speaking of Tachibana, he muttered to himself, "Still have a basket of her laundry to return..."

Kenya closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled slowly. "Of course there was a moth." Because, honestly, what else would it be?

At least he hadn't heard their screaming this time.

"Kinda a pity that you didn't get video of that," the blond chuckled. Though it was perfectly understandable; Kenya didn't know Tachibana-chan all that well, but he doubted that the young woman would have liked being filmed by his kouhai no matter how amusing it might have been.

Raising an eyebrow, he smirked at Zaizen. "Yeah, from what I hear, it's kinda bad form to steal a girl's clothes."

Just as Yachi dipped her toes into the water, she was already starting to feel like she was in heaven. She sank her whole body into the onsen and a peaceful sigh escaped from her lips. This was just the thing she needed to feel relaxed, all her nervousness and worries seemed to disappear the moment she stepped into the water.

Kurobe was breathtaking and Yachi was very thankful to be here. While she did find it kind of funny at the time, she was very happy that her boyfriend won one of the costume contests and invited her as his guest. She would definitely love to come back here one day.

Momoi had been so pleasantly surprised to be invited by An to join her at the onsen. It had definitely been a while since she had gone to one but it was greatly timed. After her team's loss in the tournament so early on this was just the kind of relaxing distraction she needed. What between that and everything going on with Sanada as well, having some time away from all her stressors was a blessing.

She washed her long rosy hair thoughtfully, suds bubbling up as she scrubbed thoroughly and enjoyed the fragrance of the shampoos and soaps. Once she had rinsed down she wrapped her hair up with the towel so she could go for a nice long soak in the baths. As she wandered over she was surprised to see another familiar female face already there.

"Yachi-san?"

Yachi was in her own little world as she continued to soak her body into the warm water. Suddenly, she heard her name being called, which made her slightly jump. Yachi glanced up from the hot waters and found herself staring straight into the eyes of Momoi.

"Momoi-san!" Yachi greeted, her cheeks flushing red since the other girl might have seen her staring off into space. "It's good to see you. Are you enjoying Kurobe so far?"

There was so much steam it did block Momoi's vision as she entered into the water from seeing the blond's flush. She couldn't blame her for relaxing and zoning out though.

"It's nice to see you again too, Yachi-san. I'm enjoying myself quite well thank you." she smiled as she dipped a toe in and sighed happily. "The water is perfect." Momoi bowed her head a bit as she slowly slipped into the water and settle in a spot against the rocks across from Yachi. "How about you?"

Never having been much of a fan of buses for longer stretches of travel - and having the entire Hyoutei tennis team along had never made things quieter or more relaxed - Atobe was glad to be out of the vibrating, shaking and incidentally foul smelling bus. Still, even after being shown to their room and admiring the untouched overgrown wilderness they could look out on it felt like the vibration had settled under his skin. Made restless by it he quickly changed into the robe he had had retrieved from the family home in Tokyo just for this and headed for the onsen. Being submerged and buoyed by hot water sounded absolute heavenly right then and hopefully would help ease his tightly strung nerves.

Atobe had enough restraint to control his true feelings in most cases, but in this particular one, they were completely transparent to Oshitari. After allowing his friend to escape, he unpacked a little for both of them (at least, the items that would wrinkle) and followed lazily.

He entered the changing area just as Atobe seemed to be leaving it or the small set of stools. "Save the honor of washing your back for me, dear sir?" he asked, tugging the knot of his own robe. "I'll join you in just a moment."

Glancing over his shoulder Atobe caught an eyeful of pale skin, stretched over the still nicely defined planes of Yuushi's chest. It seemed the running was helping keeping his tensai in form at least somewhat he observed with an approving look. "I would have nobody else." He assured his tensai with a smirk and disappeared to settle on one of the stools and fill a bucket with water to rinse off.

Oshitari smiled slowly as he watched Atobe walk away (a delight that never got old).

With that kind of motivation, he stripped off a little faster. "Nice and wet for me?" he asked, taking a bucket and a stool next to Atobe.

"Only for you." Atobe drawled, shifting to present Yuushi with his back. "I suppose I shall have to return the favour,ah Yuushi?" Hopefully this wouldn't turn into one of those long, drawn out massages Yuushi loved to give. He simply didn't think he could sit still that long.

"Lucky me. Mmmmm....You don't have to," Oshitari said easily, soaping up his dear friend's back. "Though it would be appreciated."

It had been too long since Atobe experienced a hot spring; he wouldn't blame the man for being in more of a hurry to get into the warm bath.

After washing himself thoroughly, Minami sighed and sank into the gloriously hot water. He lived a good life with his best friend Higashikata, but he was not at all used to this kind of luxury.

"This kind of thing is the spice of life, isn't it, Masami?" he smiled at his friend.

Higashikata couldn't help but laugh - his friend Minami was just so humourous sometimes. He really did keep him on his toes.

"We should cherish every moment of it," Higashikata said, agreeing. "We should take a photo together and send it to Banji when we get back to our room."

Minami mulled this idea over and said, "Great thinking, Masami! But he might be sad that we didn't invite him along. Maybe we should send it to him in the mail with some omiyage to make him feel better."

Though they were supposed to be thinking of Banji, he got a little stuck looking into Higashikata's eyes. The wet hair plastered to his forehead didn't look like baby duck hair at all. He stared, eyes full of affection, until impending doom appeared out of nowhere. The moth flew in from over Higashikata's shoulder and shattered their peace like a wrecking ball.

"M-M- ....MASAMI"

Higashikata didn't even see the moth until Minami cried out and he saw it fly past his face and he screamed, leaping over to Minami and grabbing him by the armpit.

"Kentarou!!" He scrambled to get them out of the water and into some dark area, anywhere away from the light where the moth would lurk and he screamed again as the moth seemed to lazily dive towards them and he felt his foot slip...

They needed to reach the darkness. Higashikata's impressive instincts steered them both in the right direction, but bad luck struck even cautious travelers. Minami fell with Higashikata; in trying to steer them away from the light, he only made them crash into the boundary wall between the men and women's respective baths.

The wall gave way, making jimmy-sized holes as they stumbled into the ladies bath.
