Saturday has finally arrived and the winners(+one) of the G-box Costume contest are going on their over night trip to Kurobe.

Details to know:

Winners will be taking the same bus to the hotel.

Dinner and breakfast will be served in each room

There is a common room in anyone wishes to mingle

Baths are divided by gender and close at midnight.

Never having been much of a fan of buses for longer stretches of travel - and having the entire Hyoutei tennis team along had never made things quieter or more relaxed - Atobe was glad to be out of the vibrating, shaking and incidentally foul smelling bus. Still, even after being shown to their room and admiring the untouched overgrown wilderness they could look out on it felt like the vibration had settled under his skin. Made restless by it he quickly changed into the robe he had had retrieved from the family home in Tokyo just for this and headed for the onsen. Being submerged and buoyed by hot water sounded absolute heavenly right then and hopefully would help ease his tightly strung nerves.

Atobe had enough restraint to control his true feelings in most cases, but in this particular one, they were completely transparent to Oshitari. After allowing his friend to escape, he unpacked a little for both of them (at least, the items that would wrinkle) and followed lazily.

He entered the changing area just as Atobe seemed to be leaving it or the small set of stools. "Save the honor of washing your back for me, dear sir?" he asked, tugging the knot of his own robe. "I'll join you in just a moment."

Glancing over his shoulder Atobe caught an eyeful of pale skin, stretched over the still nicely defined planes of Yuushi's chest. It seemed the running was helping keeping his tensai in form at least somewhat he observed with an approving look. "I would have nobody else." He assured his tensai with a smirk and disappeared to settle on one of the stools and fill a bucket with water to rinse off.

Oshitari smiled slowly as he watched Atobe walk away (a delight that never got old).

With that kind of motivation, he stripped off a little faster. "Nice and wet for me?" he asked, taking a bucket and a stool next to Atobe.

"Only for you." Atobe drawled, shifting to present Yuushi with his back. "I suppose I shall have to return the favour,ah Yuushi?" Hopefully this wouldn't turn into one of those long, drawn out massages Yuushi loved to give. He simply didn't think he could sit still that long.

"Lucky me. Mmmmm....You don't have to," Oshitari said easily, soaping up his dear friend's back. "Though it would be appreciated."

It had been too long since Atobe experienced a hot spring; he wouldn't blame the man for being in more of a hurry to get into the warm bath.

Leaning forward Atobe sighed appreciatively. It hadn't just been the hot water of the onsen he had missed during his time abroad, but also the cameraderie shared with his friends and team mates. "I suppose it would be rude not to then." Which was as close to admitting that he didn't mind as he was going to come.

Oshitari hummed lightly as he took his time washing the gorgeous, well-muscled bdoy before him. There was nothing quite like watching his hard-working friend unwind.

"I would make pining faces while you're trying to relax," he teased. "So really, you're saving yourself."

"Mmmm. Of course I am." Rolling his shoulders then his neck Atobe felt himself relax slowly under Yuushi's skilled hands. "You make the most aggravating noises too." He remarked lazily. "Like a lovesick dog."

Oshitari gave Atobe another once over with the wet cloth, this time lingering with his fingertips on shoulderblades and spine.

"If the shoe gets me your loving arms, I'll wear it," he said, reaching for the hose to rinse his friend off.

"I'm sure you do Yuushi." Atobe smirken and stood once the last of the suds had been to stretch before turning to his friend and gesturing for him to turn around. "Lets do this."

Well that was a fine sight from this angle. Oshitari pulled his hair into a low ponytail and obligingly turned to show Atobe his back.

"Please be gentle," Oshitari husked.

Settling on his stool again Atobe picked up the soap Yuushi had used and briskly worked up a lather to spread over his friend's broad back. "Aren't I always gentle with you, Yuushi." He drawled, massaging the lather into the slick skin, easly locating all the sore spots to soothe away.

He closed his eyes and let out a low, pleased noise. "Mmhm, even when I don't deserve it."

Which was often. Sometimes the temptation to tease and provoke Atobe was just too great. "I'm always appreciative of your consideration."

"As you should be." Atobe agreed snottily, digging his fingers into Yuushi's shoulder ferreting out a stubborn knot of tension. Once that had been subdued to his satisfaction he briskly finished scrubbing the bowed back and rinsing it off by dumping water over his dear tensai.

Oshitari let out a grunt of complaint that soon became a happy sigh by the motions of Atobe's clever fingers. The hot water felt refreshing over his back.

"Thank you, Keigo," he murmured, scrubbing up his own front. If only the lingering wet didn't make him feel so chilly. "You're safe from my pining face."

"Good." Resting a hand on Yuushi's shoulder Atobe pushed himself to his feet. "Now lets go. I'm getting cold." Picking up a second towel he lead the way outside to the basin containing gently steaming water and surrounded by natural rocks. Above them clouds were lazily drifting across the blue sky, a cool breeze eager to greet the wet skin. Shivering he hurried his steps and climbed into the onsen.

"Now we can't have that," Oshitari stood; he took long enough with his arrangements to let his friend move on a little ahead. After all, the view was too good to pass up following his favorite leader.

The hot water soothed his gooseflesh almost immediately. "Mmm, that's nice," he dropped to his knees in the deepest part, letting the water soak up to his chin. "Other places in the world do have their merits, but I think this will always be my favorite way to relax."

"Indeed." Atobe groaned, voice thick with nearly indecent pleasure as the water's heat soaked into his skin. Stretching out under the water he watched his toes break through the surface and wiggled them before settling on the ledge to lounge comfortably. "It's somehow different than a hot tub." The solid stone and the slightly sulfuric water made it seem more rustic, more in tune with nature and after the hectic and bustle of the city it was a welcome change.

"Extremely different from a hot tub," he emphasized, splashing some mineral enriched water onto his face. "Plenty of space, no chlorine. Nice, natural, and pore-opening."

Oshitari loved how his skin felt after onsen. "And none of that wondering whether or not one should wear a swimsuit."

"As if you've ever worn a swimsuit in a hot tub Yuushi." Atobe drawled, cupping water in one hand and pouring it over his shoulder where it reached beyond the surface. "It was a wonder you didn't draw blank during PE."

Oshitari laughed and shifted to sit next to his dear friend. Their thighs brushed, just barely, beneath the surface of the water. "I'll have you know that I own some very fashionable swimwear. Our PE regulation suits weren't so bad either."

He had fun replacing other people's suits with pairs slightly too small or slightly too big.

"Exhibitionist." Atobe accused fondly, not that he had much room to talk really. "I remember you posing in those in front of the mirror in the changing room." He snorted. "Trying to check out your own ass." Relaxing further he didn't make a move to escape the light almost touch, basking instead of the heat and the warm attention lavished on him.

Smirking slowly, Oshitari said, "Given the locker positioning, it was an excellent vantage point for looking at you."

His own body was nice enough, but he could look at it anytime. He slipped his arm out of the bath to drape it along the edge of the pool behind Atobe.

"Mmhm." Rolling his head back Atobe used Yuushi's arm as a convenient pillow. "Of course you couldn't resist the magnificence that is ore-sama." He drawled, hip sliding against Yuushi's thigh as he slouched further into the water.
