The DMDU library lights shine dimly with a spookiness that doesn't quite match the holiday. Fortunately, each pair card is placed neatly atop a flashlight and a mission pamphlet. Some of the pairs were planned while others were matched by Oshitari, the MC and organizer of the event.

The matched singles received notification of their partner, but only two hours prior to the actual evening event.

Once you rendezvous with your partner, proceed to the course. It doesn't matter which order you go in, as long as you have visit each of the ten set ups and retrieve a stamp. Use the map to navigate the large medical library from challenge table to challenge table. The first to finish will receive a glorious prize.

By the way, watch out for traps. There are trip wires everywhere, not to trip, but to trigger tiny heart glitter balls, and if you dare peek at one of the fake challenge tables (they are labeled on the map as challenges), you may find yourself locked in.

When you have completed the course to your satisfaction, you may retreat to one of the study rooms where bedding and snacks are set up for everyone to get comfortable for the night.

(ooc: Quick notes:

1. no need to play out EVERY set up. But it is to your benefit to play as many as possible

2. many of the challenges will use dice to determine a wheel spin or pulling something out of a bag)

Of all the choices, Yukimura only really liked number one. And that was easy. Tezuka smelled one of two ways in candle form.

"You're either unscented or some kind of mountain air scent. Like snow, pine, and musk," Yukimura stated.

[tezuka_kunimitsu]

"Aren't we supposed to argue about this?" Tezuka asked. While being an unscented candle seemed a little boring he couldn't say he disagreed with it. He certainly didn't feel as if he could argue passionately for three minutes about it. Perhaps they could convince the person watching the table to allow them to roll again for a less ridiculous one. Five or six would be ideal

Yukimura shrugged. "Not necessarily. Just because you agree with one part doesn't mean you agree with all of it," he started. "Besides, you haven't said what you think I would smell like as a candle. There's always the possibility that I could disagree with you."

[tezuka_kunimitsu]

"Alright. Then I think your candle would be lavender and sage." Tezuka wasn't even sure those scents would be pleasant together. But lavender was a fairly popular and nice scent and he rather felt a sweet floral would suit Yukimura but under it should be something more earthy. Yukimura was a lot like Fuji when it came to looks being deceiving and there was certainly more than one layer to his scent. Perhaps even more than two. "And maybe... nutmeg, too." Tezuka made a mental note to never make his own scented candles or oils.

At least Tezuka had disagreed with his choice. Yukimura could think of at least one person who would buy the "Tezuka" scent.

"Lavender is too strong," Yukimura said. At least, the lavender in the candles his mom used to buy was atrociously strong. "Maybe you're thinking of what you would smell like in candle form. I'd like to think I'd smell sweeter than lavender and sage."

[tezuka_kunimitsu]

"I admit I'm not very good with scents. How about nutmeg?" Tezuka asked. He could admit freely that he did not spend much time thinking about the name of different scents he smelled and even less time about what scents might apply to Yukimura. Fortunately, he only had to ponder this for the remainder of the three minutes. "Perhaps with vanilla..." Vanilla was a sweet but not overpowering scent.

"I'm not a baked good," Yukimura said. Tezuka really was not good at this. "What type of vanilla? Bourbon, Tahitian, Mexican, French?" He would need to text Marui later and tell him thank you for waxing poetic about baking when they were in school together.

"There's different types?" Tezuka asked. This challenge was suddenly giving him a headache. The first scent was too strong and floral and now too sweet and apparently there were more types of vanilla than he could comprehend. He didn't like to admit weaknesses but in this circumstance he had no choice but to do so.


ooc: It's okay. I understood.

Yukimura nodded. "When you have a teammate that really enjoys baking and sweets, you pick up a few things." He looked at the timer. It was almost time's up. "I appreciate you trying though. Thought that counts, right?"

(ooc: thank you for knowing me so well)

[tezuka_kunimitsu]

"I see..." That made Tezuka feel slightly better. Some of his obscure knowledge was gained from his teammates and friends and not through any actual desire of his own for learning them. "What scent would you consider yourself?" He asked to fill the last remaining seconds of the time.


ooc: :D and Tezuka spun the wheel for the drinks. He got a four! So he's wondering if they should do shots of espresso or vodka shots.

"Something floral. Lily and jasmine with something sweet like pear." Yukimura's mom wore a perfume similar to that and he'd always loved it. He thought it made sense for that to describe him.

Tezuka felt that lavender hadn't been that far off but decided that since the time was up there was no need to argue the point. "That sounds nice," He said instead. He handed the paper over to get stamped. Even though they hadn't argued very passionately for three minutes they had at least discussed it which seemed to have counted well enough. "Let's go to the next activity."
