The DMDU library lights shine dimly with a spookiness that doesn't quite match the holiday. Fortunately, each pair card is placed neatly atop a flashlight and a mission pamphlet. Some of the pairs were planned while others were matched by Oshitari, the MC and organizer of the event.

The matched singles received notification of their partner, but only two hours prior to the actual evening event.

Once you rendezvous with your partner, proceed to the course. It doesn't matter which order you go in, as long as you have visit each of the ten set ups and retrieve a stamp. Use the map to navigate the large medical library from challenge table to challenge table. The first to finish will receive a glorious prize.

By the way, watch out for traps. There are trip wires everywhere, not to trip, but to trigger tiny heart glitter balls, and if you dare peek at one of the fake challenge tables (they are labeled on the map as challenges), you may find yourself locked in.

When you have completed the course to your satisfaction, you may retreat to one of the study rooms where bedding and snacks are set up for everyone to get comfortable for the night.

(ooc: Quick notes:

1. no need to play out EVERY set up. But it is to your benefit to play as many as possible

2. many of the challenges will use dice to determine a wheel spin or pulling something out of a bag)

Miki gave Makishima a small smile and a wave as he walked the other direction. This challenge was just so exciting!! Miki felt very thankful that he agreed to join the scavenger hunt with him. They hadn't spent much time together in a while, so this was a great chance for them to bond. She scratched her chin a little as she glanced at the book. The Odyssey was indeed an epic tale! But even if it didn't matter, she wanted to find a book that fit Makishima's tates much more.

She put the book back into the shelves and continued to glance at the names, a certain book was on her mind and she was determined to find it. Oh! There it was! "Don Quixote! How perfect!" Miki slightly widened her eyes from how loud she said that and lightly hit herself on the forehead for being a dunce.

Don Quixote is such a famous novel that Miki was sure Makishima had read it a least once in his life, but during the time she knew him, she got to know a little bit of his tastes. He liked sarcastic funny novels and Don Quixote was the first thing that popped into her head.

After picking out the book, she trotted to the receptionist, taking a piece of paper and pen before sitting down next to one of the nearby tables. Hmm, Miki had so many things to say about her wonderful senpai and friend that she had no idea where to start!

"To Miki," was the only thing that he'd written on the paper in front of Makishima. He scratched his head, squinted his eyes, tapped the pen to the wood, tapped his fingers to his head... Nope.

One, two, five, ten minutes had passed... and not a single word had been added. He sighed as he put the pen down again, tapping into the wall beside him. He finally decided to reach for the book, opening it, skimming over the words... Then suddenly it hit him.

He knew what to write now. Well, he thought he did. Quickly he reached for the pen and scribbled down the words before they left his mind. Alright, this seemed okay. Maybe. He hoped.

Slipping the letter into the book, Makishima walked back to the rack where he took the book from. He pushed the book between the gaps, but only half, so that half of the book was sticking out of the rack for Miki to find. There. He hoped no one would take it out before Miki did.

Dear Makishima-san...

An almost serene smile consumed Miki as she started writing down her thoughts about her good friend. It felt good to be able to express her thoughts and feelings about someone that she was very thankful to be reunited with. While Miki had met so many amazing people during her stay, being around Makishima felt... comforting.

Her pen continued to furiously write on the sheet of paper before she finally signed it with a small heart. From Miki 💕 "Yosh!" She said outloud before placing the letter into the book. Miki strolled over to where the she found the book, leaving it sticking out just a little more than the others. Now it was time to find Makishima...

Her eyes darted around the library before she finally set her sights upon that very recognizable hair! "Makishima-san, did you finish yours?"

Makishima turned his head when he heard his name being called. "Miki!" he said, walking to her. "I have. Did you wait long?" he asked while scratching his cheek. He took quite a while to finish his letter, after all, it wouldn't be a surprise if she'd finished hers for a long time already.

"Hehehe, not at all!" She giggled. "I just got done finishing my letter," It took her a little bit of time to finish up what she was writing. Mostly because she was stumped for words and it ended up being longer than it was intended. Now Miki had an urge to write more letters, it felt nice to let out your thoughts in a hand written message.

"It was lots of fun, though! I can't thank you for coming out with me tonight."

A smile curved on Makishima's lips, Miki's smiles were always so contagious. He wouldn't say that writing a letter was fun, it was exhausting to say the least, but if it could make her smile like this, then it was all worth it. A small flush crept up Makishima's cheeks as he scratched one side, saying, "Not at all, sho." Thank you for inviting him.

He looked around for a bit before he turned his head back to Miki again. "Um, if I remember correctly, we need to find each other's letter now...?"

Miki always felt warm and fuzzy whenever Makishima would smile. She was especially feeling warm because that smile was directed to her! She couldn't be anymore happy thinking about that.

"Oh yeah! Let's head out and look for the letter! I'm very much looking forward to seeing what you wrote," She giggled as she skipped off, determined to find Makishima's letter.
