Welcome to the wonderful fall weekend go-kon dating event! Though typically karaoke is a rather intimate affair, Oshitari rented out a larger room to accommodate the crowd. There’s an open bar area with snacks and soft drinks; a few high tops surround it, dotting the way toward some of the comfier couches that frame the small stage. Around the stage the room is dimly lit, illuminated mostly by a few low lamps and flittering disco lights. The snacks, however, are perfectly illuminated.

Whether or not you put yourself on Oshitari's list, you can show up. Either you're someones plus one or you PM'd Oshitari last minute.

(ooc: (1) While there will be NPC characters there, keep in mind that they're all friends of friends. As such, they're all perfectly nice people who would not take advantage of anyone. Use them as you see fit.
(2) While I know there are large drinks being offered for free, please do not get your character dangerously drunk. Intoxicated and a little sloppy is fine, but please no hospitalization/extreme illness. Keep it fun!)

"Tequila sunrise....that sounds...picturesque...." He mumbled as he read the card then got the drink for Fuji. It was pretty. He offered it to the smaller man, "Be careful not to drink too much."

Fuji chuckled again. "Don't you worry about a thing; I can handle myself very well." Unless it was Aozu!

"I happen to enjoy tequila a lot." He held the glass very daintily, even his pinky was delicately stretched out away from the glass as he sipped. "Wonderful~ There's no time limit on how fast I need to finish this, is there?"

"Not that I'm aware of...you even drink beautifully....it must be exhausting...." He mumbled a bit and kind of wished he had another drink to sip at, but with the way he was feeling and speaking, he figured he shouldn't. Instead he got some water and sipped at that instead. He'd have more alcohol later after his rainbow wore off.

"What brings you to this?"

He smiled noncommittally and placed the glass on the table. Some wasabi nuts would be nice right about now...

"Hm? Just looking to kick back and relax a little. I missed out on the Halloween party, so..."

"Hn...you didn't miss out on much...though you probably would have won some kind of award...like the sexiness one.....or scariest costume....though I'm not sure what you would have been so I suppose that's unfounded....Do you think it's inappropriate to propose to a woman after your first kiss? I've recently been told that it is not alright. Though it seems like the logical next step..."

"I was planning on going as a cactus, so I don't know about any rewards, but thank you very much." He reached for his drink, sipping it again. "...Propose? After your first kiss? You realize one usually proposes after knowing the other party for months, at least? And that a marriage is supposed to last forever?"

"Ah, but in my family arranged marriages are the normal....My brother said women like commitment, I think he was lying.....He taught me that women are to be respected and that you should never bed one unless you plan on being with her for the rest of your life either....I wonder if that was a lie too....I am not really sure where to go from here....sex with men is easier...perhaps I'll just do that and not worry about marriage until my brother finds someone that wants to marry me.....it'll probably take a couple decades..." He rambled on, the filter between his mind and mouth well and truly shut down.

"Oh... Oh dear, that does sound like a highly traditional family, doesn't it? The way I see it, and the way my sister puts it... Respect is good. You should always try and respect your partner... But women are no saints and shouldn't be viewed as such. When it comes down to it, everyone's a person, no? Ask her what she thinks. Where she wants to go from here, before you whip out the ring and thrust it in her face." He sloshed the drink around in the glass before taking another mouthful.

"Hn...I doubt she'll forgive me after such an impass then....especially since she came here with Atobe....and everyone knows I can't compete with Atobe...he's personable and attractive and such....It's rather frustrating....It would be nice to be attractive and desirable...though I know he has troubles with it...still...it's rather depressing to be a large titan that most people want nothing to do with.....my....social skills also leave a lot to be desired...though no one other than my brother bothers to help me try and improve them..."

Fuji sighed.

Fuji reached out with his index finger, placing it on Sanada's lips.

"Shh," he cautioned. "What's this foolishness? Can't compete with Atobe? Since when should you, even? Sanada is Sanada, nee?"

He blinked at the finger on his lips and stared at Fuji for a long moment. He kissed the finger without thinking about it then nodded a bit. Ryoma's lesson about licking and sucking at fingers like they were something far more....dirty..popped into his head.

He... Should have expected that, really. He blinked, considering for a brief moment to pull back, but then his smile deepened and he remained as he were. (Maybe the alcohol was starting to affect him, just a little.)

He took a step closer to Fuji, "You're very kind...." He murmured against his finger.

"Ah... Why, thank you. Not a ghoul yourself, are you, Sanada?"

"I believe the jury is still out on that particular subject...." He stared at Fuji for another long moment then pulled him into a hug, "You're so nice....no one is ever nice to me like this...." At least not without making fun of him. Now that he thought about it most people made fun of him. Maybe he really should just marry the microfilm machine and never leave the library ever again.

The hug was unexpected, but Fuji decided to roll with it. He rested his head against Sanada's chest, humming deep in his throat, a confirmation he was listening. When Sanada's quieted down, Fuji sighed. "No one? How incomprehensible... People can be really short-sighted and silly, can't they?"

"Ah, I suppose so....everyone who is nice....always does it with rather cruel jokes.....I...guess they do not realize...or are not as nice as I thought..." He sighed and rested his head ontop of Fujis, though he had to bed quite a lot to do it. He was so small. It was adorable.

"If they don't realize, then they ought to be set straight," Fuji mumbled into Sanada's chest. "If they're cruel intentionally... Excuse me for saying it, but then maybe you don't need those people in your life, nee?"

"Ah.........though I'm not good at these kind of things...telling people how I feel and such...." He sighed, "You're really warm and nice to hold...why are you at a gokon? I'm sure you could have your pick of anyone you wanted in the world...."

"You're far too kind."

"I'm just... Trying to socialize. That's all."

"Ah....that had been my original intention too...." He sighed a little, "Then I met her...and then I screwed things up...and now she will never forgive me and have beautiful perfect babies with Atobe or something...and he'll make me babysit them whil they run off to Norway or something..." He didn't know why he thought they would run away to Norway, but he did.

"Norway's not so bad," Fuji chuckled, a thought exasperated. "Wonderful landscape."

"Sanada, do you honestly think Atobe is perfect?" He tried to twist around a little to reach his glass, body rubbing against Sanada's as he did. He emptied the glass and sighed.

"There's no such thing as a perfect human being."

Sanada wrapped his arms around Fuji from behind instead and thought about it as much as his alcohol filled body would let him. Though part of him wanted to know more about Norway.....

"I think...that he is what most people see as perfect.....he is good at balancing his life with his work and his hobbies and he is strong and kind....smart and honest when he is allowed....I do not think he is without flaws though, no one is....but that doesn't mean I don't think he's perfect....someone wihtout flaws...wouldn't be perfect..."

Fuji's eyes glittered mischievously. "Why, you have me wondering if it's Atobe you're jealous of, or the girl..."

Sanada blinked and looked down at him, "Eh? What do you mean?"
